Progress + Playtest Feedback 1

9/9/20:

Progress - Was able to complete a basic grid with colliders and basic movement (dark green detects collision and will stop the slime player).

Playtest notes - Movement was good, but could be faster, diagonal movement is OK. Add bushes/rocks (accents to make it look nicer). Maybe add a few more areas to make it more explorable, will probably do that for the first weapon pick up.

9/14/20:

Progress - Got the grid to look more in line with my final vision, had to revamp the whole structure and don't use collisions anymore, instead use Grid parameters and GridInformation to decide how objects interact. Have the game in 2.5D now, so shadows will render and make the grid look prettier. Sprited the main characters and a few accents like brushes and mushrooms, will add rocks etc. (not yet added, will be in the same plane as the the player for that juicy 2.5D feel). Now that the game structure is more finalized, I can start adding more mechanics like combat etc.

Playtest notes - Movement is better, need to add a lot more mechanics before I get super valuable feedback but knowing that the movement feels good and not clunky is a good start.

Note - Back ground is temporary (has a nice parallax effect though), subject to change in the future. Shadows were not implemented in time for the playtest, as material shaders weren't implemented yet.
