Bryant Open Beta Feedback Response


For my response, I will be focusing mainly on the art aspects of the game. The most common feedback I got was that the aesthetic of the indoor and outdoor areas clash and it isn't really explained why. The idea is that both areas are part of the same simulation that the player is in, but the indoor area is meant to be a tutorial area. It is supposed to represent the simulation loading. I have also heard that the enemies area pretty generic, but they are meant to look this way, because again, the player is in a simulation. These were the most common responses we received as far as art goes. While we did receive a few other responses, they called for us to change things that we had purposely put in the project, or they were suggestions that went against the central idea of our project. Going forward, more art assets, and perhaps some dialogue or on-screen text will be added to give the player a better idea of what is happening and the narrative of the game.
